CHESAK, Charles D. died on 17 February 2014. He was a husband, father, Army officer, Vietnam Veteran, dad. He will be greatly missed by his three loving children; Mark, Kari, and Chris Chesak, along with his three granddaughters Adriana Medina, Lillian and Sylvia Chesak. There will be a memorial service at the Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Wednesday morning (February 19) at 11:30A.M. – 1:30P.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 2:00P.M.. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A reception will be held after the service.

Charles grew up in El Paso, served for 15 years in the US Army and later worked for the State Auditor’s Office. He was an avid history buff and loving grandfather. Charles will be remembered for his sense of humor and service to his country. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles may be made to either the Shriner’s Hospital (51 Blossom Street, Boston 02114) or the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Fund www.vvmf.org.

Charles is a fifth generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosina Seidemann and is listed on page 133 of the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book. His genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Carl, Clara, and Charles. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
