Kester, Marion S. (Seidemann), 72 years, died 11 April 2010. Marion is survived by four children: Pamela (Kester) & John McNees, Paula (Kester) & Stephen Krueger, Richard Kester & his wife Amy, and Patricia (Kester)& Gregg Waggener. She is also survived by a brother Richard Seidemann & his wife Sue.

Her loving husband Richard Kester precedes Marion in death. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Olive (Seidemann) Seidemann and the granddaughter of the late Frederick & Hulda (Meuschke) Seidemann and Frederick & Meta (Gutenkunst) Seidemann. A twin sister Virginia is also deceased.

Marion loved gardening, baking, sewing, quilting, and traveling and also collected dolls. She was also interested in her church and served on many committees. For years, she served on the Seidemann Family Reunion Planning Committee and was involved in the 3rd edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book.

She is a fifth generation descendant of Friedrich & Rosine Seidemann and her genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Frederick, Elmer, Marion and Friedrich, Carl, Frederick, Olive, Marion. She is listed on pages 121 and 412 of the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book.

She always had a great smile and a friendly word for each of us. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
