Landvatter, Roger E. 80 years, passed away unexpectedly Monday, 26 March 2018, at his residence. He was born 23 Nov 1937 in Port Washington to Earl and Adelia (nee Rieke) Landvatter. He was raised in Fillmore and graduated from Random Lake High School Class of 1955. On 31 Jan 1959, Roger married Barbara Johann at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend, and began their family.

Roger served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the early ’60s and was a member of American Legion Post 36. He later was the owner and operator of Barton TV in Barton. Roger’s hobbies were fishing, woodworking, camping, listening to Polka music, playing pickle ball, boating, bicycling, and from his earlier years he played softball until he was in his 70s.

Roger is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Jacalyn (Larry) Rauch, Richard, and Chad (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Alex (Alyssa) Rauch, Haley (fianc’e Cole Myhra) Rauch, Danille (Charlie) Rochwite, Brad Anderson, and Nathan and Evan Landvatter. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Mary Wolf and Sheryl (Richard) Prost; brothers-in-law, Michael Johann, Lawrence Mezera and Ken (Chris) Berkel; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, David Wolf; and sisters- in-law, Kathleen Mezera and Sandra Johann-Berkel.

A memorial service for Roger will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, 31 March at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend). Visitation will be held Saturday, 31 March from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.

Roger was a 6th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and his family tree is as follows: Friedrich, Johanna, Paulina, Anna, Earl, Roger. He is listed on page 263 and 264 in the fourth edition of the Seidemann Family Tree with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
