Pohland, Ruby M. (Seidemann) 96 years, died 19 November 2010. She was born to Henry & Mathilda (Fick) Seidemann. In 1940 she married Waldemar Pohland who preceded her in death.

Ruby is survived by four children; Lucille (Sam) Razzano, John (Margo) Pohland, Mary Ellen (David) Strelitzer, and Joanne (Tom) Lemke; by five grandchildren Andrea (Adam) Shatek, Jennifer (Jamie) Crisp, Christopher Pohland, Lisa (Jason) LaCousier, and David Strelitzer; and three great grandchildren; Savannah, Taelor, and Jackob and many relatives and some very special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Wally, two brothers Arno and Lloyd.

Ruby was the first secretary of the Seidemann Family Reunion when it first organized in 1933. She was 19 years old at that time and she continued to serve on the reunion committee as treasurer, on all four book committees, and later as an advisor for the reunion committee. Ruby was very involved with her church and was the church secretary until she retired. Her ever-present warm smile, kind words, and wonderful personality will be deeply missed by all of us who were blessed to have known her.

Ruby is listed on page 114 of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree book. Her 5th generation genealogy list lists as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Frederick, Henry, and Ruby.
