Razzano, Samuel P, 92 years, died peacefully at home on Thursday, 1 June 2017. Son of the late Joseph and Florence Razzano, Sam was born and raised in Bound Brook, lived in Manville with his first wife, Anna, who died in 1973, and then moved to South Bound Brook. Sam was a WWII US Navy Veteran who served from 1942-1946. He worked as a specifications analyst for Mack Trucks, Inc. in Bridgewater for 37 years retiring in 1990. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook; a life member of the VFW in Manville Post 2290; a charter member of the Manville ELKS; and enjoyed taking trips to Italy, where he visited with family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, and will always be remembered as a: “Proud Grandfather”, who loved being with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Lucille (Pohland) Razzano; son, Mark A. Razzano and wife, Cindy of Stockton, NJ; daughter, Andrea Razzano Shatek and husband, Adam of IL; brother, Ugo Razzano and wife, Margaret of Brick, NJ; and his 6 cherished grandchildren, Christina, Caitlyn, Anthony, Isabella, Samuel and Carissa. Visiting hours will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday, 4 June 2017 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 9 AM on Monday, 5 June 2017 at the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Mass at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church in South Bound Brook. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Somerset Hills Hospice, 200 Mt. Airy Road in Basking Ridge. 

Sam is pictured on page 56 of the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree book and is listed on page 114. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
