Lucille Rollinger, of the Town of Belgium, passed away in the evening hours of Thursday, 17 July 2014 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. She was 96 and 7 months old.

Lucille was born in the Town of Fredonia on 3 December 1917, daughter of Charles and Angela Gerner Neumann. On 26 April 1941 she married Wilbert “Bert” Rollinger at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. The couple farmed and raised their family in the Town of Belgium. They enjoyed fishing and traveling together until Bert’s passing in 1985. She worked in the kitchen at Smith Bros. Restaurant in Port Washington for 15 years. Lucille was a member of Divine Savior Parish (Lake Church) and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, playing bingo, and taking tours to casinos and the Fireside Theater.

Lucille is survived by her three daughters Nancy Pickard of Manitowoc, Diane (Terry) Tietyen and Lina (Don) Volesky both of Port Washington. She is further survived by her grandchildren Ken (special friend Lisa) Sharbuno of West Bend, Randy (Janet) Sharbuno of Port Washington and Jeff (Patty) Tietyen of Port Washington, 5 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Zach, Austin, Karla and Alex, her brother Donald (Lois) Neumann of Campbellsport, her sister-in-law Grace Rollinger of Belgium, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bert, grandson Mark Tietyen, two sisters Marcella Peterson and Violet Wagner and three brothers Edward, Walter and Charles Neumann Jr.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 21 July at 6:30 PM at Divine Savior Parish, St. Mary Lake Church Chapel. Father Jim Ernster and Deacon Gerald Mauleg will preside. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Mary Parish Cemetery, Lake Church. Visitation will be held on Monday, 21 July at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium from 4-6 PM. In Lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium is honored to serve the family.

Lucille was a fifth generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and is listed on pages xi and 323 in the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree book. She is pictured on pages 240 and 241.
