Rothe, Beverly Joan (Grefe) Revels, 78 years, died 24 February 2011. She is survived by her husband Stanley Rothe, two children from her first marriage: her daughter Candace (Revels) and Carl Baumgart and her son James and Mary Jo Revels. She is further survived by one stepchild Terri; four grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Nicholas and John; three step grandchildren, Brenda, Donna and Glenn; four great-grandchildren, Blake, Tyler, Sophia and Evan; numerous step great-grandchildren; four brothers: Paul Grefe, Fredrick (Norma) Grefe, Robert (Verda) Grefe, and Henry Grefe; two sisters: Doris (Grefe) Gourley and Phyllis (Grefe); many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Besides her first husband Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Laura (Wermuth) Grefe, brothers: Harold and Gaylord, sisters: Eleanor (Grefe) Huffman and Dorothy (Grefe) Ruf, one great-grandchild: Emily, and a stepson: Duane.

Bev worked her School District for 26 years, eight of those years as food service manager. She also owned and operated a motel for 32 years.

Bev was committed to her church and active in the Sunday school, ushering, greeting, Women’s Guild, Alter Guild and other church activities. She also belonged to the Senior Citizen Club and was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post. She loved baking pies and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beverly is a fifth generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosina Seidemann and is listed on page 200 in the fourth edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book. She is also pictured on pages 180 and 183. She and Stanley are listed as donors of the 4th edition Seidemann Family Tree Book. Her genealogy line is as follows; Friedrich, Friedericka, Oscar, Laura, Beverly. She was very helpful gathering information for the Seidemann Family Tree book from her own family and also from her sibling’s families. She was the youngest of eleven children. She is deeply missed by her family and friends.
