Ronald W. Lade, 80 years of Plymouth, WI, passed away early Sunday Evening 22 May 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sheboygan, WI on 21 March 1936. He was the son of the late Werner and Margaret (Vowinkel) Lade.

He attended schools in Detroit, MI. On 26 September 1959 he married Joan M. Mehlos at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Ron served in the United States Army from 1957 – 1958. He was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls and a current member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

Ron worked at Uncle Bill’s Mink Ranch, Rathbun Feeds, Gilson Brothers and the City of Plymouth Street Department. He worked at Kohler Company for 31 years, retiring in 1998. He did seasonal work at Whistling Straits for the last 18 years. He served numerous years as Alderman in the City of Plymouth, serving a total of 22 years. Ron loved to play golf and follow politics. He also very much enjoyed visiting the many tribal lands in our area.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joan of Plymouth; children: Clinton (Rose) Lade of Plymouth, Martin Lade (special friend: Spring Schultz) of Plymouth and Lora Ann Lade (special friend: Joel Mulder) of Plymouth; four grandchildren: Evangelene, Myles, Gueneviere and Rhiannon; Two brothers: Robert (Carla) Lade of Florence, WI, and Russel (Pat) Lade of Fond du Lac; Three sisters: Rosaly Sanok of Michigan, Roxann Moore of Indiana, Rommel “Jane” Hardee of Texas; One brother-in-law: Robert Borzyskowski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: one brother: Rodger Lade; two sisters: Rogene Borzyskowski and Regina Funk; four brothers-in-law: two sisters-in-law; and two nephews.

Funeral services were held on Thursday 26 May 2016 at 6:30 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church officiated. Cremation will take place following the services. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Ron’s name. The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Plymouth served the family. The family would like to send a special thank you to our two angels: Spring Schultz and Patty Klunk for all your support and care given to the family, and also Compassus Hospice in Sheboygan.

Ron is listed on page 161 in the fourth edition of the Seidemann Family Tree book with his wife, children and grandchildren.
