Vanessa Busse, age 34 years, of Woodstock, Illinois passed away 13 July 2021, with her family by her side. She was born on 17 September 1986, in Libertyville, the daughter of Allan and Shirley (Kusch) Busse. She married Andrew Rank on 9 June 2017.
Vanessa is survived by her husband, Andrew; mother, Shirley Busse; her sisters, Melissa (Brian) Haske, Adrienne Busse-Kus, and Jeanette (Danny) Hodgkinson; niece, Hannah; nephews, Brian, Gavin, and Bryson; mother-in-law, Sabrina Boone (Steve); her father-in-law, Scott Rank; her husband’s grandmother, Carol Rank; and former husband, David Eberhart. She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Busse.
Vanessa enjoyed many sports throughout her life, and she was proud to earn the Girl Scout Gold Award. She enjoyed watching the Cubs and playing on both a volleyball league and many soccer games. She enjoyed being around animals and loved all of her fur babies.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, 24 July 2021, from noon until the service at 3 p.m. at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, IL 60098.

Vanessa is listed in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 101 with her parents, and siblings. She is a 7th generation descendants of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and her genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Mary, Edward, Ruth, Allan, and Vanessa.
