Everyone loved her home cooked meals and fresh baked goods. Having raised eight children, she had plenty of practice in the kitchen. She enjoyed trying new recipes, but without a doubt her home-made bread and peanut squares were family favorites! When her children were growing up there was always fresh baked goodies packed in school lunch bags. Bev also enjoyed going to the county fair with her grandchildren and was very proud of exhibits they entered and ribbons they won.
Bev was always very cheerful and upbeat and enjoyed life. She had a terrific sense of humor and loved telling jokes and funny stories. One of her favorite past-times was playing sheepshead, she could play for hours and hours; several of her friends came frequently, even after she moved to the Waterford in West Bend in April 2015, and she always looked forward to playing cards and reminiscing with them.
Bev was a long-time and active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg from 3 until 5:45 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 6 p.m. at church. Burial was Friday at 10 a.m. in the parish cemetery.
