Died: 14 September 2023
Ross Alan Chesak was a warrior who fought a valiant battle. He passed away on 14 September 2023, at the age of 64.
Ross was a lifelong El Pasoan and a long-time employee at the PSB and the City of El Paso. He enjoyed being hands-on and worked for his Dad on several large construction projects. He spent weekends in the desert, hiking, shooting, 4-wheeling, and rescuing endangered cacti from the perils of expansion.
Ross is survived by his brothers, Eric Chesak (Michelle), and Dale Chesak (Crystal), sister Sandi Cox, and mother Selma Chesak who passed away on 28 January 2024.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Chesak.
Ross is listed in the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 131 with his parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews. He is a 6th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosina Seidemann and his genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Clara, William, Robert, and Ross.
It has been way too many years since Ross and I lost touch. I have tried over the years to find Ross and reconnect, yet could never find him – until I found this notice. We had so many adventures from 1975 until 1980. My best friend in High School and into my college years. We explored the desert and caught rattle snakes to earn money. I miss you and your family. I still own the shirt Selma made for me when I became an Eagle Scout. If anyone is willing to share Ross’ life with me after we lost touch, please reach out to vgiasolli at gmail dot com
