Selma Ruth Garriott Chesak, known as “Babe” to her family was born on 26 November 1930 in Bedford, Kentucky. She passed away peacefully on 28 January 2024 at the age of 93.
Selma loved crocheting, filling many homes with the love she put into every piece. Gardening was a passion of hers which was evident in the beauty of her home.
She also loved reading, arts & crafts and serving her community through Coronado Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher and vacation bible school volunteer.
Selma is survived by her sons, Eric Chesak (Michelle), Dale Chesak (Crystal), and daughter Sandi Cox. She was blessed with grandchildren, Christine Garrison (Ben), Justin Chesak (Makenzie), Jordan Chesak and Danielle Chesak.
Selma was preceded in death by her Husband of 55 years, Robert (Bob) Chesak, her son Ross Chesak, and grandson Travis Brian Cox.
Selma is listed in the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 131 with her husband Robert Chesak, their children, and grandchildren.
