Crass, Alice E. 90 years died 5 July 2012. She was married to Merlin Crass who preceded her in death. Alan Crass, her son also preceded her in death. Her six children that survive her are; Therese (Wayne) Casper, Mary (Dan) Howard, Christine Kannenberg, Joanne (Michael) Barber, Michael (Jane) Crass, and Mark (Maria) Crass. She is further survived by 21 grandchildren; Jacqueline Den-Hartog, Aaron Casper, Elizabeth Hogfeldt, Rebecca Casper, Allison Coppock, Zachery Casper, Nathan Casper, Robert Howard, Ted Howard, Maria Howard, Katherine Casper, Sarah Kannenberg, Amy Tradewell, David Kannenberg, Matthew Kannenberg, Alexandra Barber, Emily Crass, Anna Crass, Madeline Crass, Nicholas Crass, Kayla Crass, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Alice was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and above all a friend to everyone she met. Her faith was her strength and guiding light. She was an inspiration to all who met her. She was an excellent cook and baker known for her delicious homemade bread, marble birthday cake, Christmas stolen, rhubarb pie, along with baked beans and German potato salad. She enjoyed hiking in the Kettle Moraine, gardening, canning, playing cards, traveling, spending time with her family, and daily prayer. 

Alice is listed on page 293 of the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book. She will be truly missed by all of us who were blest to have known her.
