Crass, Marinette M. (nee Jaeger) 87 years of West Bend passed away Friday, 12 February 2016 at Ivy Manor in West Bend. She was born on 6 September 1928, to the late Norvin and Christine (nee Lahr) Jaeger in West Bend. She attended Holy Angels Grade School and West Bend High School. She worked for many years in the office at Wisconsin Gas and Electric in West Bend.
On 18 June 1949, she was united in marriage to Ray Crass at Holy Angels Catholic Church. They had their son, Terry. Then she began working for the West Bend Co. as a laborer. She moved to Menomonee, Michigan, for three years and owned a Chips hamburger stand. For the next 20 years she lived in Florida, returning to West Bend after Ray died to be closer to family. She loved to bake. She will be greatly missed by all.
Those Marinette leaves behind to cherish her memories include her son, Terry Crass of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Tina Kevton, Lori (Wade) Ramsey, Chad Crass and Joe Crass; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Leroy Tutor Jaeger; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; sister, Leora (Ray) Bresette; and sister-in-law, Florence Jaeger. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1 p.m. Friday March 4 at Holy Angels Catholic Church.
