Eberhardt, William E. 84 years, died 3 December 2011. He was the son of the late Elmer and Alma (Gerner) Eberhardt. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Sticker) Eberhardt, two children; Gary and his wife Kim Eberhardt, Barbara and her husband Christopher Cerniauskas, and grandchildren Michael & Christopher Cerniauskas, Mallory Sprehe, and Garrett Johnson; step-son and daughter-in-law Jeff and April Homes, and step-children; Schoen and Jessica Holmes.

William served in the United States Army including two years in Germany after World War II and was a member of the First Regimental Army Band. William was a forester for 35 years. He planted many trees and helped fight many forest fires, including jumping out of airplanes to fight fires in remote areas. He also worked as a Realtor for 18 years. He was an Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster. He was an active volunteer including; North Oaks Hospital, Westside and Eastside Elementary Schools, C.A.S.A., a board member for the Youth Service Bureau, the American Legion, and more than 50 years with the United Methodist Church. Bill had a love for the outdoors and regularly enjoyed tennis and fishing.

William is listed on page 328 of the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book and is a 5th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann. His genealogy line is as follows; Friedrich, Johanna, Edwin, Alma, and William.
