Gerner, Donna Rae 73 years, passed away after a brief illness on 30 April 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. Donna was born to David & Grace Henderson on 22 March 1943. 

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Jerold Edward Gerner, whom she married on 1 March 1997, two daughters: Rebecca Sinn and Deanna (David) Culver, two stepsons; Joshua Gerner and Nicholas (Susan) Gerner, two brothers-in-law: Eugene (Sandra) Gerner and Jeffrey (Monica) Gerner, and two sisters-in-law: Donna (Donald) Damrow and Phyllis (Patrick) Agnew. 

Before her retirement Donna worked as an administrative accounting assistant and in her free time she loved to read, work in her garden, crafts, and enjoyed music and taking day trips with Jerry. 

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Donna was held in July of 2016 in Ithaca, New York. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology or the Public Radio & TV station of your choosing. Knauff Funeral Home – Williston, FL was in charge of local arrangements.

Donna is listed on page 304 of the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book. She is deeply missed by her family and friends.
