Herman, Carol A.

Carol A. Herman, 59 years, of Glenbeulah, formerly of Adell, passed away on Saturday, 4 October 2008, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls.

She was born on 26 December 1948, in West Bend, the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Lechner) Steinert; and on 22 August 1969, she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Herman, Jr. in Las Vegas. Her husband preceded her in death on 16 June 2006.

Carol was employed as a certified nursing assistant for 29 years. Sixteen of those years were at the Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility in Plymouth. She also worked five years at Regal Ware, Inc. in Kewaskum.

Survivors include three children, Brad Herman (fiancée, Sheila Warriner) of Adell, Renee (Tony) Jones of Cascade, and Regina (Jesse) Jones of the town of Wayne; six grandchildren, Ashley, Tori, Lexi, Jesse, Jr., Cheyanne, and Dria Jones; her mother, Edna Steinert of Fillmore; three brothers, Carl (Nancy) Steinert of West Bend, Calvin (Judy) and Stanley (Tracey) Steinert both of Fillmore; three sisters, Connie (Wayne) Wetzel of Belgium, Susie (Craig) Mansmith of West Bend and Janet (Butch) Hafemann of Campbellsport; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her father, Clarence and her parents-in-law, Tom and Mildred Herman.

Funeral services for Carol will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 7 October 2008, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. Tom Fleischmann will officiate and cremation will follow the service. Burial of the remains will be on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery in the town of Kewaskum.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Carol is listed in the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 278 with her husband Tom, their children, and grandchildren. She is a 7th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and her genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Johanna, William, Edna, Gladys, Edna, and Carol. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
