Harold T. Kreif, 92 years, of Campbellsport, Wisconsin went to his heavenly home on Monday 15 April 2013 at his home. 

Harold was born in New Fane on 3 November 1920, the son of Albert and Ella (Kirmse) Kreif. He married Rose Capozzo at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Fane, Wisconsin on 23 January 1943.

Harold worked side by side with his wife on the farm. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His pride and joy was “Harry and Rosie’s Pond” which he lovingly shared with friends and family during the summer. He loved to garden, deer hunt and work at Flood Oil for 54 years. He also worked at the Campbellsport and Eden meat markets. Harold was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. 

Survivors include two sons: Harold J.(Carol) Kreif and David (Janell) Kreif both of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, three daughters: Barb (Darrell) Batterman, JoAnn (special friend Chad) Kreif and Debbie Feldner all of Eden,  eleven grandchildren: Brenda (Dan) Flynn, John (Heather) O’Brien, Peter (Jennifer) Feldner, Jamie (Cheryl) Feldner, Gina Kreif, Kelly (special friend Travis) Kreif, Matt Abhold, Jenny (fiance Jared) Abhold, Heidi (special friend Paul) Kreif, Heather Kreif, and Corey Mueller. He is further survived by five great grandchildren: Amber Teidt, Aiden and Joslyn Feldner, Emma and Josie O’Brien, one great, great grandson Blaze Teidt, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and special friend Arnold Baumhardt. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rose, and five brothers: Edwin Sr., Karl, Albert Jr., Milton and Jerome, one brother-in-law Peter Cappozzo and one daughter-in-law Sharon Kreif.

 Funeral services will be held on Friday 19 April 2013 at 11:30 AM at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 1600 S. Main Street in Fond du Lac. Rev. Matthew Guse will officiate and burial will be at a later date at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 4PM until 8PM at the Twohig Funeral Home at 305 Fond du Lac Avenue in Fond du Lac and Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the church. Harold is listed in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 317 with his wife Rose, their children, their grandchildren, and their great grandchildren. He is a 5th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and his genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Johanna, Minnia, Ella, and Harold.
