William A. Kreif, 84 years of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, 4 March 2025 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born 17 January 1941 in Washington County, the son of Edwin and Althea (Meuschke) Kreif.
William is survived by his four children, Dennis (Cindy Gudex) Kreif, Loretta (Carl) Lackas, Robert Kreif, and Peggy (Clifford) Abitz; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Reynolds; and other relatives.
At William’s request, no services will be held and cremation has taken place.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at SSM Healthcare, Hospice Home of Hope and ADRC especially Laura Callahan for all of their support during this time.

William is listed in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 315 with his parents, his ex-wife, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is a 6th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and his genealogy line is as follow: Friedrich, Johanna, Minnia, Ella, Edwin, and William.
