Died: 21 October 2012

Longhenry, James R. died 21 October 2012 at the age of 70 years. He was survived by his loving wife Carole, his daughter Susan (Jeremy McDonnell) and his son Jeffrey (Matt Donham) Longhenry. He is also survived by a grandson Declan McDonnell, his sister Laurie (Longhenry) Froelich, his sister-in-law Brenda, his niece Lisa, his nephews Brian Longhenry and John Froelich, numerous relatives and many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Arlene (Klahn) and Lawrence Longhenry, a brother Gerald, and his brother-in-law Robert Froelich.

When Jim retired at the age of 58 years he just wanted to sit on the deck in the log home they built and enjoy the view of the Castle Rock Lake. Carole and Jim traveled extensity prior to his retirement. Jim also loved to golf with his buddies and enjoyed watching his grandson have fun. He also enjoyed cruising in his boat. His last 12 years were exactly as he wanted them to be. 

Jim was a sixth generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and is listed on page 117 in the 4th edition of the Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann Family Tree book. His genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Frederick, Anna, Arlene, and James.
