Edwin is pictured in the fourth edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 146  with his sister Selma in front of the Luft homestead, on page 150 with his siblings as children and with this siblings and their wife’s. On page 153 he is pictured with his wife Emma. He is listed on page 173 and 174 with his wife Emma, their children, their grandchildren, their great grandchildren, and their great, great grandchildren. Edwin is a fourth generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and his genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Christiana, Wilhelm, and Edwin.
