Mader, James E, 77 years, of Newburg was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 21 April 2015 with his family by his side. 

He was born on 9 September 1937 to the late Theodore and Esther (nee Hanke) Mader in Hamburg, WI. He graduated from Athens High School in 1956. He worked for American Motors for 9 years, and retired after 33 years working for Simplicity. He married Joyce Gerner on 17 October 1987. He enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, playing cards, movies, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Barker) Gerner Mader; six children, James (Patty) Mader of Prairie Village, Kansas, Kris (Steve) Marcus of Dallas, Texas, Tracey (Jeff) Zambon of Green Bay Wisconsin, Travis Mader of West Bend, Wisconsin, step-son, Brian (Karen) Gerner of Nashotah, Wisconsin,and step-son, Bradley (Sheri) Gerner of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; eleven grandchildren, Danielle Mader, Rebecca Mader, Alexa Marcus, Brianna Marcus, Kyle Mader, Mackenzie Zambon, Alec Fowler, Justine (Stevie) Comic, Gabriela Gerner, Brynn Gerner, and Brooke Gerner; one great-grandchild, Jehzelle Comic; sister, Vernell (Bob) Calmes; brother, Melvin (Phylis) Mader; sister in laws, Colette Mader and Elaine Mader; other relatives and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Jerome, Ted, Vernon, and Eugene Mader. 

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 27 April 2015 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 521 Congress Dr., Newburg. Burial will follow the mass at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 am until the time of mass.
