Meier, Michael John 57 years, passed away on 7 February 2016 at his home in Lamartine. He was born to Severin and Marie (Lefeber) Meier on 25 October 1958. He graduated from North Fond du Lac High School. Mike married Candy Fiedler on 24 December 1986. They recently celebrated 29 years of marriage.
Mike is survived by his wife, Candy; his sister, Judy and her sons, Bob, Jim and Mike Kairis; his brother-in-law, Andy (Karen) Fiedler and their son, Stefan; his brother-in-law, Larry (Donna) Fiedler and their son, Nicholas; his mother-in-law, Marleen Fiedler and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard.
Mike liked to hunt, fish and used to love off-road Jeeping. He said the best job he ever had in the world was when he was a trail guide for Camp Jeep. He got paid to do something he loved. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home with Candy.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, on Saturday 13 February 2016 from 1:00 to 2:45 PM. A memorial service will be celebrated following the visitation at the funeral home on Saturday at 3:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Mike is listed in the 4th edition of the Seidemann Family Tree book on page 265 with his wife Candy, her parents, and her siblings.. He is deeply missed by his family and friends.
