Jeffrey Lee “Trapper” Nash, 64 years, passed away after a courageous, five year battle with cancer on 24 July 2017, surrounded by loved ones in Crandon, WI.

Jeffrey was born on 13 April 1953 in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Marvin and Mary Nash. He graduated from Port Washington High School, and was married to Dawn on 20 August 1982 He worked in the trucking industry for many years. Jeff and Dawn lived in Grafton until they retired to Crandon in 2015.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Nash, Crandon, Wisconsin, his loving sons, Robert Nash, Saukville, Wisconsin, and Michael Nash, New London, Wisconsin, along with the Wendt family and other close family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mary Nash, Crandon, Wisconsin

Jeff spent as much time as he could outdoors – landscaping, hunting, fishing, and cruising White Eye Lake on his pontoon. He loved to putter around in his gardens and had very specific standards for his lawn to meet. As a family, the Nash’s traveled for the better part of 10 years all over the country for off-road races.


No service is planned for Jeffrey, but his family will celebrate his life with a private memorial, and honor his life daily. Weber Hill Funeral Home in Crandon is in charge of arrangements, and questions can be directed to them.


Memorial donations sent to Dawn will be directed to the Ozaukee County 4H.


Jeffrey will be dearly missed by everyone who loves him, and his family is relieved that he is no longer suffering.  

Jeff is listed in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 333 with his wife Dawn and their children Robert and Michael.
