Rose Ann “Rosie” Peters, 79 years, of West Bend, passed away on 19 February 2024, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital in the town of Polk.
Rosie was born on 1 May 1944, in West Bend, the daughter of Norman and Mabel (nee Tietz) Faber. On 27 March 1965, she was united in marriage to Thomas “Tom” Peters at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. Tom preceded Rosie in death on 16 October 2022. Rosie was employed by Enger-Kress for 46 years and then continued working at Pick-N-Save in West Bend. In her retirement, Rosie enjoyed getting together with friends for lunch and going out for fish every Friday.
Those Rosie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her children, Joseph “Joe” Peters of West Bend and Debra (Matthew) Bublitz of West Bend; a grandson, Alexander Bublitz (Ashley Hafemeister); a great-grandson, Bennett Bublitz; a brother, Edwin Faber; two sisters, Adeline (Richard) Peters and Sandi Smet; a sister-in-law, Connie Faber; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Rosie was preceded in death by two brothers, Roman Faber and Norman Faber; a brother-in-law, Jim Smet.
VISITATION: Rosie’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum – Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend on Sunday, 25 February 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A service for Rosie will be held on Sunday at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor David Schoob officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend or to the Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
