Nona Rae “Nonie” (Schuppel) Thums, 47 years of Medford, died Friday, 28 November 2003 at the Wausau Hospital following an automobile accident. 

Funeral services were Wednesday, 3 December at 3pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Whittlesey, with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating. Burial was in Chelsea Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Statt Lemke, Codey Stephan, Jason Schuppel, Tom Lucia, Tim Ahlers, Dave Gengler, Ron Bohn and Ben Zenner. R.J. Dunkel was an honorary pallbearer.

Nona is listed in the 4^th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 280 with her parents and siblings.  She is a 7^th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and her genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Johanna, William, Edna, Wilmer, Alyce and Nona.
