Matthew Dennis Uler, 46 years, beloved son of Jay and Linda Uler and proud master of his companion, Abbey, passed away Friday, 27 March 2009 at his home.
He was born on 6 March 1963 in West Bend, Wis. He graduated from Belleville High School in 1981. Matthew had worked customer service for Rocky Mountain Motorist of AAA in Colorado.
Matthew was a Ham radio operator and also had a passion for animals. He had a very special place in his heart for his dog, Abbey.
He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Boyne City, Amateur Radio Operators Association and the Spina Bifida Association.
He is survived by his loving parents, Jay and Linda Uler of East Jordan; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as many friends. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial mass will be held at noon Saturday, 4 April at St. Augustine’s Church, 2347 Grove, Boyne City, MI 49712. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Matthew is listed in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 282 with his birth parents, his siblings, and cousins. Matt is a 7th generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann and his genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Johanna, William, Edna, Carlos, Barbara, and Matthew. He was later adopted by his father’s sister Linda (Laughrin) and Jay Ulcer.
