Wilkens, Warren W. 84 yrs. died 20 September 2011. He was the son of the late Herman and Martha Wilkens. 

He is survived by his wife Joan (Beimborn) Wilkens and six children; Sandra Wilkens, Gerald (Shelley)Wilkens, Dennis Wilkens and his special friend Michelle, Donald (Kim) Wilkens, Robert (Kristine Wilkens, Richard Wilkens and his special friend Angie, two grandchildren; Patricia and Noah Wilkens, a brother; Rollin (Barbara) Wilkens, two sisters-in-law; Jean Beimborn and Connie Puerling, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and her husband Jeannette (Gerald) Ziehr; a brother-in-law; John Beimborn, and a grandson; Nathan Wilkens. 

Warren worked as a welder for 37 years, retiring in 1991. In addition to working on his parent’s farm, he also helped several neighbors on their farms over the years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Gehl Company Hexelbank Club. He also was a volunteer for the Newburg Fire Department for many years. 

Warren is listed on pages 113 and 276 in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book. His 5th generation genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Traugott, Emma, Herman, and Warren.
