Charles died at the age of 70 years.
Charles was born to Johanna (Seidemann) and Christian Gerner on 8 December 1870 in Cheeseville, Wisconsin. On 15 December 1897 he married Emma Binder. They had 10 children namely: William, Alvina, Arthur, Elmer, Elmer’s twin sister (died at birth), Clara and Clarence were also twins, Lawrence, Linda, and another girl who died at birth. Charles was a farmer his entire life. He died on 25 September 1940 after suffering from gangrene from an infected appendix.
Charles is pictured in the 4th edition of the Friedrich Seidemann Family Tree Book on page 218 with his father, his older brother William and his family who he lived with as a young man, on page 244 with his relatives and friends on their safety bicycles, and on page 245 as a young boy, a young man, and also with his wife on their wedding day. He is listed on page 217 as the youngest child of Johanna and Christian Gerner, on pages 332 to 344 with his wife, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is also listed on page 426 as Honorary Chairman for the 2ndSeidemann Family Reunion.
Charles is a 3rd generation descendant of Friedrich and Rosine Seidemann. His genealogy line is as follows: Friedrich, Johanna, and Charles.
